Abstract:Songliao basin is a large Meso-Cenozoic petroleum-bearing sedimentary basin overlaying on Paleozoic basement. Tectonic evolution of northern Songliao basin underwent three stages of fault-down, depression and tectonic reversion which produced three large structural layers . Many reversal structures were developed in the tectonic reversion. The reversal structures were controlled by deep faults , half-graben of fault depression and the deformation under regional stress field . The reversal structures can be divided into five reverse tectonic beltsuranium mineralization was controlled by the basal faults and reversal structural belt, and three favorable segments were predicted for uranium mineralization in northern Songliao basin. ,twenty-four reversal sub-belts and Seventy-eight reversal structure. The reverse structures generally striking NE-NNE and are characterized as “strong in the east and weak in the west”. Because reversal structure cause the rising of reducing fluid and uranium-rich components from the deep , form structural erosion window, and change the groundwater cycle condition , therefor they did favor to the development of interlayer oxidation zone and metallogenesis of uranium. Drilling verification discovered that
