Abstract:Xinan is a very important area for the uranium metallization in Egongshan volcanic basin. Study on the geological feature, ore-controlling factors and metallogenetic potentiality inXinan area suggested that Daguding and Ehuling formation are U-richformation,andpost-magmatic hydrothermal solution facilitated uranium mineralization. structures of NWW , NNE, NE directions are the important ore-controlling structures,and the uneven part of fault F1 is favorable uranium ore-forming area.It was believed that there is great prospecting potential along trendextending of fault F1 and the fracture zone of sandstone in the footwall of F1.
