Habilig area is located at the Siziwangqi-Zhengxiangbaiqi magmatic belt in the middle section of the northern margin of North China Block. Uranium mineralization is mainly occurs in grey to black quartzite of the second lithological part of the Neoarchaean Wulashan Group, and controlled by the anticline of UlanHada-Houershan regional fold as well as regional faults. Dolomitization, electrification, pyritization and chalcopyrite alteration related to hydrothermal processes are well developed. Uranium minerals are mainly uraninite, which mainly occurs in the pyrite-siderite veins or the periphery of crystal and cracks of pyrite, and a small amount occurs as inclusions in quartz and potassium feldspar mineral grains. Pearson correlation analysis showed that U is closely related to typical magmatic hydrothermal elements such as Bi,W,Re and Mo. Considering the regional magmatic activities,it was believed that there have been at least two stages of uranium mineralization in Habilig area, the early stage is the regional metamorphism which resulted in initial enrichment of uranium in original rocks of quartzite and granulite, the later stage is the granodiorite magma emplacement which prompted further uranium enrichment and final metallization.
