Abstract: For studying the geochemical characteristics of the main ore-forming elements,a 10,000 soil geochemical survey was carried out in Xiayinchang-Shiyanjiao area of Xingyi,Guizhou Province. With a systematic study on the distribution of related element content, single element anomaly, comprehensive anomaly characteristics, element correlation, and abnormal element combination characteristics, the anomalies of U,Au,Mo,Hg,and As elements in survey were found large in scale, and mostly distributed in fractured structural zones, altered zones, and surface mineralized zones. The anomalies are superior in tectonic-alteration-mineralization-geochemical conditions and have good metallogenic potentiality. Based on comprehensive anomalies and geological information, three prospects have been delineated, they are Xiayinchang(U-Au-Mo),Biankoudong-Dajishan(U-Au-Mo)and Shiyanjiao (U-Au). Each prospect is with structures of multi-phase activities, alrerartion of pyrite, limonite, mercury, carbonate, silicification,The anomalies in the prospects are strong and centrealized which are coupled to form a zone with some area, and worthy for further research.
