The northern part of Yining,Xinjiang province is located in the uranium mineralization area of Yili basin,and developed five uranium deposits of Sulu Xinchengzi,Nantaizi,Gangou,Piliqin,Keshanqi and many radioactive anomalies. Based on the accomplishment of predecessors,the uranium mineralization conditions were analyzed in this paper and the uranium mineralization was believed to be related to the tectonic environment,strata,hydrogeological conditions and uranium source. By studying the ore-forming geological feature and geophysical anomalies of Sulu uranium deposit,a physical-mathematical prediction model was established for the uranium deposits in coal measure strata. With the results of field geological work,one prospect was predicted, which provide a reference for uranium exploration in the north of Yining area.
