Research and Design of Cloud Computing Platform for Uranium Geology and Exploration

Cloud computing is an IT model，which can readily manipulate the software and hardware resources in the shared pool anytime and anywhere. Cloud computing relies on network and virtualization. It uses distributed computing，grid computing and other technologies to provide efficient and autonomous resource management and utilization. To meet the need of multi-source data collection of various organization, It is necessary to study how to build a cloud computing platform and construct a cloud computing platform to solve the problem of “data island”from uranium geology and exploration. This paper first introduced the basic concepts and key techniques of cloud computing, then proposed the ideas of top level designing and multi-source data integration with the core of cloud serving and unified standard system with the characteristics of uranium geology and exploration. Finally, presented the framework of cloud computing platform in the data storage and backup，network and system security of the cloud platform. The study also provided a reference for the construction of cloud computing platform in uranium geological industry in the future.
