Abstract After decommission ， uranium exploration facilities will turn to long-term monitoring period.Based on analyzing the characteristics of uranium geological exploration facilities in China ， this paper classified them according to their geographical location and the environmental specificity ， key points and
restrictive conditions of long-term monitoring were studied. The monitoring requirements were put forward from the aspects of engineering stability and maintenance ， and suggestions were proposed for the environmental monitoring. The study results can provide technical support for strengthening the effect of
decommissioning treatment and ensuring long-term stability of uranium exploration facilities.
