Abstract In uranium exploration,surface prospecting engineering is an effective and commonly used method to reveal the geological and mineralization phenomena in the area,and the results are mainly presented by the map of radioactive survey results. At present,the map is mainly completed by manual sketching,which brings some problems such as a time-consuming and unsightly map. In this paper, the idea of automatic mapping was practiced by developing a data processing auxiliary software for radioactive measurement data,which can transform multi-parameter coordinates into standard coordinate format,supports Surfer software data grid processing and MapGIS software output result map,and realizes automatic mapping. Through a large number of surface engineering verification,it was confirmed that the output data of auxiliary software is accurate and reliable,and the automatic mapping of radioactivity measurement data can be realized by Surfer and MapGIS software. This method will save the time-consuming steps such as the traditional manual sketching and digitalization of map sheet in MapGIS software,and bring great convenience to the radioactive logging work,further improve the standardization of the result map,and work efficiency of Geophysical Logging.
